Here it is that time of the year

When all of us moms get together for some cheer

My Bereaved Mom’s Birthday Bash is back and on fire

Having this event is most definitely dire

To the moms I do, and don’t yet, know

To the moms who have helped me, and who haven’t yet, to grow

To the fellow moms whom I missed these past two years

To the fellow moms with whom I’ve shed plenty of tears

To the moms who seem so ok

To the moms who don’t, and that’s ok

To the moms who realize Hashem is in charge

To the moms who feel they are under a barrage

I know that these past two years have been hard on us all

Especially since we’ve all been climbing the wall

But the time has come to break free at last

And to learn to live beyond our past

The party is on after so much time gone by

Fortunately, my age, will not be a lie

As we give a bounce and a jump up for the leap year #22

I’ve been thinking of something, and someone, special, just for you

Devorie Kreiman is just the person for us

To share and give chizuk without a fuss

Plus, all the activities that usually come together at the event

Fun, good food and presents galore are there for our merriment

We’ll go back to The Shull in my hood

Because there, it has always been good
